and introducing Marin Miller...

I know it sounds super cheese, pass the mozzarella but I am always honored to photograph people. I never get tired of it. I love to see their story unfold right there in front of me.  I'd like to say it happens every time, and maybe it doesn't but when you photograph an artist who sits right on the edge of that space, its my favorite. ( I'm not even going to ask if that made sense LOL ) When I walked into Baylor Theatre over 25 years ago, I had a sense of home that I had never felt before. I loved the solitude of being on stage, the complete vulnerability and safety of it, just blew my mind. So even though I haven't been in a play "except in my living room" hahahaha for the past 8 years or so, I love going to the  theatre, and  ESPECIALLY the Theater Bug,  in East Nashville, where these kids just rock my world with their depth and sweetness and hilarity and Cori writes and directs these brilliant plays..perhaps you've seen some of those  kids photos float…

In a Pickle...

Last year at Porter Flea I had the pleasure of meeting Eppie and Julie of Zephyr Art and just loved their dolls. Who better to showcase them than some of my favorite Nashville creative young artists?
